For Thanksgiving this year we went to my sister in law parents house which is about 5 hours from where we live. We love going up there and are so grateful for the Michaelsons inviting us into their home and making us feel so comfortable. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to be. The weather was beautiful and the kids spent every minute they could outdoors.
They rode bikes
Played with silly string
Went on a boat ride
Played in the leaves
Craig and my brother then came out to play and the real fun began.

The kids were also encouraged to ride their bikes down the hill into the pile of leaves. The kids loved it and had no fear.
Then it was Craig and my brother's turn to ride down the hill on their kid's bikes with their kid's helmets.
There were a two bike causalities as a result of two grown men being on bikes way too small from them. Poor Landon still talks about how Daddy broke his bike.
New idea's kept evolving and a ramp was built for the kids.

I loved watching Craig play with the boys and the boys loved playing with him.
Craig's job keeps him working long hours and often his work continues into the weekend so it was nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving break as a family with no work, phone calls, or emails. I enjoyed every minute of this break and hope we can have them more often.
