Where's Landon?

I often find myself asking myself "Where is Landon?" because as soon as I take my eyes off Landon, he seems to disappear very quickly. I can already tell he is going to be my adventurous little dare devil. Below are a collection of pictures I have taken in the last couple of weeks.

Trying to escape to the outside

Just got done running with the boys and apparently Landon thought I still needed to exercise because he climbed back in the jogging stroller.

This is his favorite thing to climb on

But then he decided to move on to bigger and better things.
This one freaked me out but he was very proud of himself.
Since then I have removed this stool from the kitchen.

He loves the park and likes to try to climb up the slide. He also does like to go down and has recently learned to go down by himself without holding unto my hand.
He keeps me very busy but I love it and I am so happy to be home with my boys!

My little worker

Chase is a very hard worker and loves to help around the house whether it is inside or outside. A couple of weekends ago, we were doing a major overhaul on our front yard and Chase spent a couple hours outside helping Craig. I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of this cute kid.

He loves his gloves and is proud to show them off.

Walking and Head Banging

Landon took his first steps on a couple of days ago and is starting to get a little more confident. I even saw him go from a sitting to standing position when he was in the middle of the floor so it won't be long before I will be chasing two little boys around the house. Here is a little video I took tonight. He has some impressive head banging skills which is his version of dancing.

Halloween

Our Halloween Celebrations started on Friday night with our Ward Trunk or Treat. It was very cold and eventually we got rained out but Chase had fun and as you can see below so did Landon, he really wanted that candy.

On Halloween, we met up with my brother and his family to go trick or treating. I had tried all day to get Chase to take a nap but he was just too excited to sleep. Well earlier Craig and I told him if he didn't take a nap, he couldn't go trick or treating. I told him he had one last chance to take a nap in the car on the way to trick or treating. He was asleep within two minutes. So glad he choose a nap.

I always give Craig a hard time about not dressing up even though I never dress up so this year he decided to be a cowboy.

Landon just sat back and enjoyed the ride

Chase and his cousins, Rachel and Audrey

The trick or treating gang

It was a great Halloween, in fact one of the best ones I have had as an adult. I think it is the energy of kids and being able to watch them be excited that makes it so much fun. And don't worry Chase has been planning his costume for next year. Last I heard he was going to be a fireman.

Pumpkin Carving

This is the first year that Chase is really getting into the holidays and really understands what they are about. We picked out pumpkins on Saturday and didn't carve them until Monday night, I think it about killed Chase having to wait to carve pumpkins. He probably asked me about 20 times throughout the day if it was time to carve pumpkins even though he knew he had to wait for Daddy to get home for work. The boys had fun. Landon kept calling the pumpkin a ball and just wanted to play with it. Chase and I just learned about pumpkins in preschool so he was excited to tell me all about them.

Chase has never been a messy boy and he said there was no way he was sticking his hand in the pumpkin. Craig was trying to coax him to do it.

Yah, he did it and he giggled the whole time while doing it.

Craig was so patient with Chase and let him help carve the pumpkin.

Chase was proud of his finished pumpkin and was excited for Lightning McQueen.

After two and a half hours, we all finally finished our pumpkins and Chase has already asked if he can carve pumpkins next year so I would say we were successful at pumpkin carving.
