Our Sunday Best

It always seems like no matter what time we have church, we are always in a hurry trying to get ready and get to church on time but we set a record a couple of weeks ago. We were all ready for church on time and even had a few minutes before we had to leave. Since I never took pictures of the boys on Easter, we took advantage of the few minutes we had to get some cute pictures of our family.

In past years, we have always relied on my in-laws garden  for our fruits and vegetables but now that we moved away, we are on our own. This year we are just experimenting with different fruits and vegetables and see what grows best. We planted peas, corn, squash, zucchini, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Chase helped plant the seeds and it has been fun to go out each day with him to see our plants grow.

Chase is proud that his corn row is growing better than Dads'.

 He takes his jobs seriously and loves to help with watering the garden.

 He likes to be in control as well

Every once in while kids need a break, I can't think of a 

better place then sitting on a ladder.

 After all that rest, he is ready to use his muscles.

We look forward to eating the things out of our garden!

Easter

We had a nice Easter though I didn't take a lot of pictures to show it. On Saturday, we went to our church Easter egg hunt at the park. I didn't take pictures because I was by myself trying to keep track of two kids during the hunt. Saturday night we had some friends over for dinner who were visiting from Utah and we dyed some eggs. On Sunday, we went to church and then had a get together with my brother and some friends for Easter dinner. I am so sad I didn't take more pictures but here are a few of some I did take.

Landon had recently learned to say shoes so he was thrilled the Easter bunny brought him swim shoes. He just kept saying "shoes, shoes, shoes." He also got a swimsuit, a swim toy, and a shape game.

Chase finally found his basket and was happy the Easter bunny brought him a swimsuit, swim shoes, and two games Go Fish and Tic Tac Toe.
