The Adventures of Island Park

We had a fantastic time on our trip to Utah this summer. We kicked off our vacation with taking a 5:30 am flight. Yikes, it was early. I had the kids sleep in the clothes the night before and then got them up for the morning at about 3:00 am. Luckily they were troopers and slept on our flight to Salt Lake. The first half of our trip we headed to Island Park with Craig's Family. We were able to celebrate the fourth of July up there and I love it. Here are some of the highlights of our Island Park Adventure.

Excited about his glow stick,
I decided that glow sticks are going to be our new tradition on the Fourth of July.

Its so nice to have time with Craig, I was one happy wife.

In addition to all our fun above, we played lots of games, read books, went for walks, took naps, floated the river, and most of all just enjoyed the time with family.

1, 2, 3, Jump

I love having a neighborhood swim pool and very impressed of how quickly Chase become comfortable in the water. Chase has had tubes in his ears since one years old and so if any water gets in his ear, he freaks out. This year he has gotten past that and has become very brave in the water. His favorite thing to do is jump in all by himself.

He loves his floaties because as he says he goes under water and then just pops right up.

He even has to climb out by himself.

All while brother is jumping, Landon just hangs out in his floatation.
He doesn't like his hat so I have to down his head with sunscreen.

The kids and I go swimming almost everyday but Dad rarely goes,
so the boys are always happy to have Daddy play with them in the water.
